As part of the TP The Town event, FHS collected a staggering amount of toilet paper which we were very happy to pick up from them!!
Along with groceries we also provide hygiene items and necessities like toilet paper to our client and are always happy to receive them as donations!!
It's not much yet but soon this will be providing fresh, right out of the garden produce for our clients. We have three growing spaces like this that we operate for as long as we can (usually May - October depending on the weather and the crop).
Being able to provide fresh produce is a huge advantage to our location and one we hope to expand on in the years to come.
Happy to have folks from the United Way here all day today for the Day of Caring! Lots of work getting done for the community garden beds, cleaning, sorting clothing donations and more.
Thank you all so much!

CUPE Local 2745 stopped in this week with a cart full of groceries as well as a generous donation by cheque! Thank you so much.
It's been a few months in the making but our new website is now live. The URL is still the same (greenervillage.org) but everything else has been rebuilt from the ground up.
You'll find pages for the different programs we run under the Greener Village Banner - the Fredericton Food Bank, the Unique Boutique thrift store, the Learning Kitchen, Community Gardens and more. We now have an online volunteer form and will be using this blog to keep people informed about upcoming events and opportunities.
We hope you find the website helpful and we appreciate all feedback. You can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the Contact Us section of the website.
