Need Help?

Families or individuals qualify for assistance by visiting the Food Bank on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday between 10:00 am and 2:30 pm and are required to fill out an application form. Persons should bring in:

  • Verification of expenses and income
  • Medicare’s for dependent children living at home
  • ID (drivers license/passport/birth certificate)
  • Copies of hydro bills, and rent receipts are also helpful

The intake interview process will take about ½ hour of your time. No appointment is necessary.

Services are normally a Food Hamper once per month.  Exceptions are made on an individual basis.

If you have mobility issues or are unable to make it to us, we can make arrangements to have someone come to you and fill out the "intake registration form". 

The MOBILE SERVICE is offered twice a month on Tuesdays.

Food Hampers contain:  cereal, canned vegetables & fruit, canned soup, macaroni and cheese, canned beans, peanut butter, canned meat tuna, chicken, crackers, dry pasta, pasta sauce, hamburger (if available), bread, milk, eggs. Extras are sometimes available like: flour, baking goods, ketchup, laundry soap, coffee/tea, jam. Food Hampers provide 3-5 days supply of food.

Baby Supplies are available in limited quantities, (normally a 3 day supply) of diapers, formula, baby foods.

Personal care items toothpaste, bar soap, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner are often available, based on "while quantities last".

Additional Services: Income Tax Returns, School Supply program, Christmas Food Hampers, Christmas Gift Program, Cooking classes, Community Gardening, Public Health Nurses monthly blood pressure clinics, flu shots, referrals to additional programs offered in our community.
