Door to Door Collection Policy. Greener Village/Fredericton Food Bank, does not solicit Door to Door cash donations. Several times a year groups or churches will do sections of the city collecting and asking for “non-perishable food items”. Anyone coming to your door should have Greener Village/Food Bank ID, or be able to give information regarding their group who is collecting, and what they are collecting. Please be a wise donor, and do not give people at the door Cash for the Fredericton Food Bank.

Allied Van Lines.Allied Van Lines is proud to be a corporate level partner of Move For Hunger since 2011. Move For Hunger works with moving companies to pick up unwanted, unopened/non-perishable food from those who are relocating and deliver it to local food banks across the country.

Gifts-In-Kind – Bring in your donation along with “receipt of purchase”, and we will issue you a Gift-In-Kind Income Tax receipt. This applies to donations purchased: Christmas gifts, school supplies, food purchases etc.

N.B. Sharing is an initiative designed to supplement the food available to those in need living in New Brunswick, and at the same time, to support the producers of New Brunswick food products. It has been designed to be as simple as possible for the stores to administer.

Coupons valued at $2.00 each are placed at the cash counters of participating stores (Sobeys and Superstore) Customers have the opportunity at the time of their purchases to donate to their local food bank by having coupons scanned. These donations are accumulated for a period of time, usually one month, and are credited to the assigned Food Bank. Food Banks purchase food with these coupons as they need it. This is a great incentive and a win/win situation for everyone. A very easy way to support local Food Banks in NB.
